Texas got knocked out of the Big 12 tournament in the quarterfinals by a Baylor team that the Longhorns just couldn’t stop this season.
Texas looked good in its Big 12 tournament debut against the Cyclones. Dexter Pittman and Damion James teamed up to power the Horns on to a rematch against Baylor.
The Longhorns took a big step back by losing their regular season finale to Baylor in Waco. The Horns will now look to right the ship in tournament play.
The seniors went out on a high note against Oklahoma. Dexter Pittman, Damion James and Justin Mason combined to score 51 of the team’s 87 points.
Texas couldn’t stay with Texas A&M in College Station losing to the Aggies and possibly losing point guard J’Covan Brown along the way.
