Desmond Harrison, the giant offensive tackle from Contra Costa (Calif.) Community College who signed with Texas, returned to practice Tuesday after being held out for two weeks because of an academic issue.
The question concerned an online English course Harrison took through Brigham Young University in the spring and whether it could count toward his elgibility to play for the Longhorns. The issue apparently remains unresolved, but Texas felt confident enough to clear him to return to practice.
