Former Longhorn Bob McKay up for College Football Hall of Fame

Bob McKay, an All-American offensive tackle at Texas in 1969, is among 76 former Bowl Subdivision players on the 2016 ballot for induction into the College Football Hall of Fame.
McKay helped the Longhorns to an unbeaten season and a national championship in his senior season. He won two SWC titles while at Texas.
The announcement of the 2016 Class will be made Jan. 8 in Scottsdale, Ariz. at the College Football Playoff.
Others up for induction include: Michael Bishop (Kansas State), Trevor Cobb (Rice), Eric Crouch (Nebraska), Kenneth Davis (TCU), Eric Dickerson (SMU) and Rashaan Salaam (Colorado)
