Texas baseball to play UCLA in 2016
Posted June 2nd, 2015
The Texas baseball team will play a series at UCLA next season, the American-Statesman has learned.
The Bruins, the top-seed in this year’s postseason, were eliminated by Maryland in the regional on Monday and finished the season 45-16.
A Texas spokesperson said next year’s schedule, which has yet to be released, will be heavy on non-conference home games.
As previously reported, the Longhorns will begin a home-and-home series in College Station against Texas A&M. The Aggies will come to Austin in 2017, which figures to be Augie Garrido’s last as Texas’ coach.
