Texas volleyball’s Micaya White is out indefinitely after suffering a tibial stress fracture on her left leg, the program announced on Monday.
White, a 6-feet, 1-inch outside hitter from Frisco Centennial, is the Big 12’s preseason freshman of the year. She was the nation’s fourth-ranked recruit, according to Prep Volleyball Senior Aces.
Even without White, the Longhorns are in good shape at outside hitter with returning contributors Paulina Prieto Cerame and Amy Neal, and newcomers Ebony Nwanebu, who transferred from USC, and freshman Yaasmeen Bedart-Ghani.
