Going to Shanghai? Texas-Washington tickets now on sale
Posted August 24th, 2015
It’s unclear how many Texas basketball fans are headed to Shanghai, China, to see Shaka Smart’s coaching debut. But at least we now know how much tickets cost.
Prices range anywhere from $12.48 up to $121.70 based on Chinese yuan conversion rates to United States dollars.
Mercedes-Benz Arena has the look and feel of typical NBA venues.
The game is scheduled for 11 a.m. local time on Nov. 14, which is 9 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 13 back in the States.
Texas faces Washington in the first regular-season basketball game — professional or collegiate — to be played in China. The game is the season opener for both teams.
