Breaunna Addison falls in semifinals of American Collegiate Invitational

Texas ex Breaunna Addison fell in the semifinals of the American Collegiate Invitational to two-time NCAA champion Danielle Collins 6-2, 6-2 Friday in Flushing, N.Y.
Collins, who played for Virginia, will face Michigan’s Ronit Yurovsky in the finals Saturday.
The winner will earn a wild-card entry to the 2017 U.S. Open main draw or a spot in the qualifying round, depending on her ranking next summer.
