Longhorns golf tied for 14th after play suspended at NCAA Championship

The first round of golf at the NCAA Championship was suspended due to weather and the No. 10 UT men shot 1 over par to sit in a tie for 14th place through ten holes.

Texas will resume the first round at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday and play the second round following that.

Scottie Scheffler is tied for 13th after he shot 2 over par through 11 holes.

Gavin Hall is tied for 41st and shot even through 11 holes.

Doug Ghim completed 10 holes and is 1 over par.

Steven Chervony shot 2 over par and is tied for 89th while Spencer Soosman is 3 over par and tied for 106th.

Braden Thornberry of Mississippi completed the first round and leads all individuals at 6 under par.

Vanderbilt shot 8 under through 15 holes and leads in the teams standings.
