The Longhorns added a key piece for the future when four-star safety DeMarvion Overshown of Arp High school pledged to Texas. The Wednesday night announcement puts Texas’ class at 10 commitments, with four of those now on defense. Overshown is a 6-foot-4, 200-pound safety who has spent time in his prep career playing nearly every defensive position from defensive line to secondary.
