Wide receiver Rondale Moore , a four-star prospect and the No. 1-ranked recruit in the state of Kentucky, became Texas’ 12th commitment for the 2018 class on Sunday when he announced his decision to play for the Longhorns.
He’s the second receiver that has committed to Texas, joining Florida wideout Justin Watkins.
Moore, a 5-8, 174-pound prospect out of Trinity in Kentucky is a four-star prospect ranked No. 215 overall in the country. He’s the No. 43-ranked wide receiver and the No. 1 player in Kentucky, per 247Sports’ composite.
Moore visited Texas last weekend for the Texas Heat Wave pool party hosted by the football program. The addition of Moore now ranks Tom Herman’s class No. 4 in the nation and No. 1 in the Big 12. Texas is still after wide receivers Al’Vonte Woodard and Brennan Eagles.
