Former Longhorn Kelli Kuehne selected for Texas Golf Hall of Fame

Kelli Kuehne, a former UT golfer, has been selected for induction into the Texas Golf Hall of Fame, the organization announced this week.

Kuehne was an All-American at Texas and won the 1995 Rolex Fall Preview and the 1996 Southwest Conference individual championship. She tied for 10th at the NCAA Championship that year.

Kuehne also took the 1994 U.S. Girls’ Junior and the U.S. Women’s Amateur in back-to-back years, 1995 and 1996. She won the British Ladies Amateur in 1996 before joining the LPGA Tour. In 1999 she won the LPGA Corning Classic.

The former Longhorn will be inducted Oct.9 at Brackenridge Park Golf Course and San Antonio Country Club.
