TV/radio: ESPNU/104.9 The Horn

About the series: Texas leads the all-time series 107-65, but TCU has turned the tide over the last two seasons. The Horned Frogs have won three of the last four games, including both games last season. Prior to that, the Horns had won 11 straight dating back to the Southwest Conference era.

TEXAS (10-5, 1-2 Big 12)

No., Pos., Name, Class, Ht., PPG, RPG

2, G, Matt Coleman, Fr., 6-2, 8.3, 4.5*

10, G, Jase Febres, Fr., 6-5, 3.3, 1.7

12, G, Kerwin Roach Jr., Jr., 6-4, 10.1, 3.6

21, F, Dylan Osetkowski, Jr., 6-9, 15.0, 7.9

4, C, Mo Bamba, Fr., 6-11, 11.9, 10.6

About the Longhorns: Coach Shaka Smart is likely to keep freshman Jase Febres in the starting lineup after he rang up 18 points in the first half against Baylor. Febres didn’t handle the Bears’ defensive changes well after halftime, though. He was 0 for 2 shooting after Baylor switched its defensive alignment. … There’s likely to be more aggression against TCU. Texas had a season-low five free throw attempts against Baylor; the Bears had 21. … Mo Bamba has blocked at least four shots in 13 of his first 14 games. At that pace, he will shatter the UT freshman record of 90 blocks set by Chris Mihm during the 1997-98 season.

TCU (13-2, 1-2 Big 12)

No., Pos., Name, Class, Ht., PPG, RPG

0, G, Jaylen Fisher, Soph., 6-2, 11.6, 5.3*

1, G, Desmond Bane, Soph., 6-5, 12.7, 4.0

34, G, Kenrich Williams, Sr., 6-7, 14.6, 9.4

15, F, JD Miller, Jr., 6-8, 10.9, 5.5

10, F, Vladimir Brodziansky, Sr., 6-11, 14.1, 4.5

About the Horned Frogs: Coach Jamie Dixon’s club won the postseason NIT last season and came out blazing this season by winning its first 12 games. But TCU hit some turbulence in Big 12 play, losing to Oklahoma by one and Kansas by four. This is the seventh straight week TCU has been in the Associated Press Top 25 poll. The school record is 10 weeks. … Desmond Bane is 33 for 66 (50 percent) from 3-point range this season. Three others players are also hitting more than 44 percent from beyond the arc, too. … The Frogs have been terrific on the glass this season. They’ve lost the battle on the boards only twice.
