It’s officially a two-team race for 4-star Lake Travis wide receiver Garrett Wilson. The No. 7-ranked player on the Fabulous 55 is set to take an official visit to Ohio State on April 13 and then Texas on April 20 before making his decision shortly after, per his Twitter account. The Longhorns will host Wilson on the same weekend of the Orange-White spring game.
I will be taking my official visits to;
Ohio State University April 13-15
University of Texas April 20-22
I’ll announce my commitment shortly after.

Wilson is the top offensive prospect on Texas’ 2019 recruiting board. He’d be a head-to-head win for Tom Herman against former mentor Urban Meyer, and it would give Texas another elite wide receiver in the 2019 class after 5-star Jordan Whittington from Cuero committed on March 10.
Wilson is a 6-foot, 185-pound playmaker who can impact the game as a slot receiver, on the outside and in the slot. He also plays cornerback for Lake Travis. Wilson recorded 98 receptions for 1,773 yards and 26 touchdowns as a junior, helping the Cavaliers reach the Class 6A Division I state championship game.
