The top-rated quarterback in Texas chose to follow former Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin to Arizona. Grant Gunnell, the No. 11 player on the 2019 Fabulous 55, was a one-time commitment to the Aggies before the firing of Sumlin. The St. Pius X product decided to de-commit and visit other schools across the country before settling on Arizona.

Gunnell was the top uncommitted prospect on the Fabulous 55. The top 11 players on the list are now committed a week into June, a clear result of the early signing period and the class of 2019’s ability to take official visits as juniors. Gunnell is the No. 3-ranked pro-style quarterback in the country, per 247Sports Composite.
