Texas was included among the top 10 schools for three-star wide receiver Langston Anderson. The 6-foot-2, 188-pound product of Midlothian Heritage picked up an offer from the Longhorns on May 26. He took an official visit to Arizona State on June 1. Baylor, Texas Tech and Oklahoma State are the other Big 12 teams that made the cut.
Langston moved to Texas from Mississippi prior to his junior season. He made an immediate impact, earning first-team all-district honors after recording 55 receptions for 850 yards and nine touchdowns. Texas holds commitments from two wide receivers – Jordan Whittington and Jake Smith – and hope to sign four prospects at the position this cycle.
