One media member picked Texas to win the Big 12 football championship in 2018, but 46 others are sticking with Oklahoma.

The Sooners were the overwhelming No. 1 selection to win a fourth-straight conference title, while the Longhorns were selected fourth in the preseason poll voted on by the media.

Texas was one of five schools to receive a first-place vote. No. 2 West Virginia and No. 6 Kansas State each got two, while No. 3 TCU also got one. Oklahoma State was selected fifth despite not receiving any first-place votes.
