Texas fans must wait to find out if they’re having football for breakfast, lunch or dinner in Lubbock next week.

On Monday, the Big 12 declined to announce a kickoff time or television network for UT’s road game at Texas Tech on Nov. 10. The conference typically gives a two-week notice for its games. Those who root for UT, though, won’t know the details for next week’s game until this week’s action is completed.

The Big 12 will actually wait to announce the start time for four of the conference’s five games. The only set showdown on next week’s schedule is a rivalry game between Kansas and Kansas State that will get going in Manhattan at 11 a.m.

This week, No. 15 Texas (6-2; 4-1 Big 12) will host No. 12 West Virginia (6-1; 4-1). Meanwhile, Texas Tech (5-3; 3-2) has scheduled a home game against No. 7 Oklahoma (7-1; 4-1.
