Texas men’s tennis wins three matches at Longhorn Invitational

The Texas men’s tennis team won three matches on the second day of the Longhorn Invitational at the Texas Tennis Center on Saturday.
Colin Markes and Chih Chi Huang each won their consolation singles matches. Markes topped Tyler Schick of Tulane, 6-3, 6-2 while Huang beat Hamish Stewart of Tulane, 6-7 (4), 6-1, 6-3.
Huang also teamed up with Leonardo Telles to beat a duo from Miami in a walkover. They lost 8-5 against a duo from Central Florida in the main draw semifinals earlier.
Johnny Goodwin won twice on Friday to play in the main draw semifinals. He fell to Jackson Cobb of Texas Tech on Saturday, 7-6 (5), 6-3. Goodwin will play Matheus Ferreira Leite of Texas Tech at noon for third place.
