The Longhorns will host Northwestern State and Boston College on Feb. 8, 2019. Those contests will serve as former Oregon coach Mike White’s first games at Texas. Boise State, which joined Texas in the same Washington-hosted regional last season, will play Texas the following day.

For Texas, Boise State will be the first of 17 opponents that reached the 2018 NCAA tournament. UT will play 31 games against those tournament teams. The Longhorns have five games scheduled against 2018 Women’s College World Series qualifiers Arizona State and Oklahoma.

Coming off a 33-26 season, Texas won all seven of its scrimmages this fall. The Longhorns are looking to secure their 15th straight trip to the postseason, but Texas last reached a super regional in 2013. White inherited a veteran roster from former UT coach Connie Clark, and ex-Oregon players Miranda Elish and Lauren Burke will join the team this spring.
