Jordan Windle won the men’s platform diving title at the USA Diving Winter Trials Friday in Atlanta.
The final day of competition was highlighted by the Longhorn’s 796.85 performance. Windle led the competition wire to wire and scored at least 70 points in each of his first four dives.
Windle joins Longhorns Jacob Cornish, Meghan O’Brien and Murphy Bromberg as gold medal winners at the event.
Earlier in the week, Windle won silver with former Longhorns teammate Mark Anderson in the men’s 3-meter synchronized event.
On Sunday, Jacob Cornish and Meghan O’Brien won the mixed 3-meter synchronized title.
UT’s Alison Gibson took third place in the women’s 1-meter diving competition on Thursday.
Gibson scored 509.20 points, trailing Arkansas’ Brooke Schultz, who won with 532.20 points.
On Wednesday, Bromberg added a fourth-place finish to two wins. She scored 53.44 points on average in the women’s platform competition but fell short of a medal by 3.25 points.
Bromberg previously took gold in the 3-meter and platform synchronized diving events.
