Texas makes top 10 for 2019 defender NaNa Osafo-Mensah

The 2019 recruiting cycle will soon take center stage. Texas was included in the top 10 of the state’s best pass rusher when NaNa Osafo-Mensah. The Longhorns are joined by programs like Alabama, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and LSU. Osafo Mensah, a 4-star who can play defensive end or linebacker, holds an offer from nearly every major program in the country.

“Teams are recruiting me at defensive end and linebacker,” he said. “I’m a pass rusher.”

The 6-foot-4, 227-pound prospect is a 4-star ranked as the No. 96-best player in the nation. He’s the 6th-ranked weakside defensive end in the country, per 247Sports Composite, and will be in the top 10 of the 2019 Fabulous 55. The Fort Worth native plays at Nolan Catholic.
