The No. 6 Texas women’s tennis squad made it a clean sweep, defeating Baylor 7-0 in Waco on Wednesday afternoon.
Bojana Markovic clinched the match for Texas (14-3, 7-0 Big 12), defeating Katelyn Parker 6-2, 6-1.
Fernanda Labraña and Bojana Markovic won 6-0 before Anna Turati and Bianca Turati clinched the doubles point with a 6-1 win.
Katie Poluta won in a walkover to make it 2-0 for Texas.
Labraña beat Alexander Ahearn 6-1, 6-0 to set the Longhorns up for the win.
Following Markovic’s clinching win, Anna Turati, Petra Granic and Bianca Turati each claimed victories. Anna Turati’s singles win was her 13th in a row.
The Longhorns next take on Iowa State on the road Friday at 11 a.m.
