Three other game times were set with the road opener against Rice kicking off at 7 p.m. It was already known that Texas would host LSU under the lights, kicking off at 6:30 p.m. The other two games set were contests against Oklahoma on Oct. 12 (11 a.m.) and Texas Tech on Nov. 29 (11 a.m.).

The Rice game will air on CBSSN, while the Red River Showdown will be on Fox. The contest between Texas and Texas Tech will be on Fox or FS1. That decision won’t be made until the season. Kickoff times for seven games remain undetermined.
