The best running back at the contest between LSU and Texas might be a senior in high school. Five-star Salpointe Catholic (Ariz.) running back Bijan Robinson is the top-rated commitment in Texas’ 2020 recruiting class and he proved why on Friday night in a win over Cactus High School. Robinson rushed for 496 yards and six touchdowns in the game, playing just three quarters as Salpointe Catholic floated to a 68-34 victory. Both were school records.

Robinson is one of the dozens of top prospects expected in Austin on Saturday for the game against LSU. He’ll be flanked by most of the current commitments in the 2020 and 2021 recruiting classes. Texas could use the 6-0, 220-pounder against LSU with Keaontay Ingram the only healthy scholarship running back on campus.
