The Texas women’s tennis team took four wins at the Debbie Southern Furman Fall Classic in Greenville, S.C., on Friday.
Lexi Ryngler, Gabby Cusano and Marta Perez Mur each took singles victories on the first day of action.
Fernanda Labraña and Ryngler also teamed up for a doubles win. They bested a duo from South Carolina 8-5.
Ryngler won 6-4, 6-0 over Kenzy Middlebrooks of Clemson in her collegiate debut.
Perez Mur topped Peyton Pesavento of Wake Forest 6-3, 6-1.
Cusano started off her career at Texas by defeating Maddie Lynch of Wake Forest 7-6 (7-3), 7-6 (10-8).
