It will either be a .500 season or a winning one for the Longhorns (6-5, 4-4 in the Big 12) depending on how they fare against the the Texas Tech Red Raiders (4-7, 2-6) at DKR today at 11 am. After the Longhorns’ first drive ended with a punt, the Red Raiders marched down the field to take an early 7-0 lead.

 

 

Tech scores again to make it 14-0 but Texas responds with a touchdown, making it 14-6 after a botched PAT in the first quarter.

 

Into the second quarter, the Longhorns found the end zone again and evened the score at 14 after a successful two-point conversion.

 

 

Both sides exchanged touchdowns, with Duvernay tying the game at 21 with another touchdown.

 

 

Texas took its first lead of the game, 28-21, in the second quarter.

 

 

The Longhorns added to the lead in the third quarter after another touchdown pass from Sam Ehlinger.

 

 

 

After a Tech field goal, the Longhorns answered with another touchdown to take a 42-24 lead with 2:35 left in the second quarter.

 

A third touchdown from Johnson extended the lead to 49-24 in the fourth quarter for Texas.
