After receiving the kickoff, the Longhorns started the game with a bang.

 

 

Despite a near turnover at the goal line, the Longhorns got on the scoreboard first.

 

 

 

Texas took its lead into the second quarter.

 

 

 

After a nice punt return, the Longhorns found the endzone to take a double digit lead.

 

 

 

The Longhorns added to its lead in the third quarter while the defense continued to hold strong.

 

 

 

The Utes finally got on the board with a field goal in the third quarter but the Longhorns responded with a touchdown to take a commanding lead into the final quarter.

 

 

 

 

 

A fourth-down stop by the Longhorns was negated after a player was flagged for continuing to play without a helmet. The Utes took advantage of the second chance by getting in the end zone for the first time.

 

 

 

 

The Longhorns responded with a touchdown to extend its lead back to 21 points.

 

 

 

After another defensive stop, Texas found the end zone once again.
