Texas signee Hudson Card threw a touchdown in the fourth quarter of Team Pressure’s victory over Team Savage in the 2020 Under Armour All-America Game in Orlando on Thursday night. Card earned the start for Team Pressure and completed his first four passes. His touchdown pass early in the fourth quarter was the deciding score.

Card, a four-star dual-threat quarterback from Lake Travis High School, was one of four Texas signees playing in the contest. Prosper four-star offensive lineman Jake Majors started at center for Team Pressure, snapping the ball to Card in a possible preview for Longhorn fans. Defensive tackle Vernon Broughton recorded a sack for Team Pressure, while cornerback Kitan Crawford played multiple positions in the secondary for Team Savage.

Duncanville quarterback Ja’Quinden Jackson was selected for the contest, but missed the event after surgery to repair a torn ACL suffered in December. The four Texas commits in the 2020 class that did play in the contest elected to sign with Texas in December rather than waiting for national signing day in February. Card, Broughton and Majors enroll for the spring semester and should participate in spring football.
