The Texas women’s tennis team took four wins on the second day of the Pink Flamingo Invitational in the Bahamas on Saturday.
Texas won two singles matches and two doubles matches.
Bianca Turati and Anna Turati teamed up for doubles action, defeating Daevenia Achong and Estela Perez-Somarriba of Miami 6-2.
Fernanda Labraña and Adri Nagy also won in doubles, topping Selma Cadar and Maya Tahan of Miami 6-4.
In singles, No. 4 Anna Turati beat No. 14 Elysia Bolton of UCLA 6-2, 7-5.
Nagy provided the other singles win, beating Annette Goulak of UCLA 6-4, 5-7, 1-0 (13-11).
Texas takes on UCLA in doubles and Florida in singles matches to conclude the event on Sunday.
