On Friday, a bunch of the coaches in Texas’ athletic department got a new day job.

As part of the My Texas Tailgate celebration, UT had its coaches broadcast a play from a recent football game. Texas then posted those clips β€” which ranged from David Pierce’s call of the Justin Tucker kick against Texas A&M to Jerritt Elliott breaking down Jamaal Charles’ 86-yard dash through the Nebraska defense β€” on its teams’ Twitter pages.

Some of the coaches did their best to mimic longtime broadcaster Craig Way. Some put their own twist on the calls. Way even tweeted that he may need steal a line used on Friday by softball coach Mike White.
