Here’s how each 2014 Texas pledge performed in Week 3 and what lies ahead for the future Longhorns in Week 4 of the Texas high school football season. (* denotes district games)

DE Derick Roberson – No. 2 San Antonio Brennan (28-4A)
Overall: 4-0 District: 0-0
Last week: The Brennan defense shut down Southwest to the tune of just 93 total yards in a 48-0 blowout on Friday. Roberson scored one of Brennan’s two defensive touchdowns – a 13-yard fumble return.

Last week: Cy Falls dropped to 0-2 in district play after a 43-6 beat down from Cypress Creek on Saturday. Creek out-gained Falls 365-190 in the rout.

Last week: Joe accounted for 290 total yards – 246 passing, 44 rushing – and scored four touchdowns in Cooper’s first district win of the season, a 56-28 triumph over Coronado.

Last week: Gray posted another big day – 127 receiving yards and a touchdown on seven catches – but Marble Falls fell to Boerne Champion 59-37 in its final non-district game of the season.

DT Trey Lealaimatafao – San Antonio Warren (27-5A)
Overall: 2-2 District: 1-1
Last week: Warren bounced back after losing their district opener by posting a 48-7 win over San Antonio Jay. Warren gained over 200 more yards and held Jay to just 33 passing yards.

WR Emanuel Porter – Dallas Lincoln (12-4A)
Overall: 1-2 District: 0-0
Last week: Lincoln registered its first win of the season with a 35-26 result over Madison – its first win over Madison since 2009. Porter grabbed six passes for 122 yards and two touchdowns in the win.

WR Dorian Leonard – Longview (12-5A)
Overall: 1-1 District: 0-0
Last week: Junior running back JaMycal Hasty continued his strong start to 2013 with 204 yards and three scores on 24 carries.

WR Roderick Bernard – Houston Sharpstown (21-4A)

Last week: Sharpstown got back to .500 with a 44-12 win over winless Houston Jeff Davis on Friday.
