The 2014 Texas recruiting class shrunk to 22 verbal pledges Wednesday morning with the de-commitment of punter Corbin Daly.
Daly, a U.S. Army All-America selection out of Charlotte (N.C.) Ardrey Kell High School, committed to Texas over the summer after receiving a scholarship offer while attending a Texas recruiting camp.
247Sports Composite ranking, using average ratings from across the recruiting industry, ranks Daly as the fifth best punter in the nation.

Texas lists two punters on its roster who will have eligibility next season – freshman Mitchell Becker and junior William Russ. Current punter Anthony Fera, a Lou Groza Award finalist, is a senior.
The Longhorns are still ranked tenth in the 247Sports team rankings after the loss of Daly.
