The Texas Longhorns’ 2015 haul shrunk to nine pledges Wednesday morning when DeSoto defensive tackle Bryce English officially decommitted from the class.
English, who had pledged to Texas in March of 2013, was one of the lowest rated recruits in UT’s class before his decommitment.
The 5-foot-10, 315-pound tackle is the sixth pledge to leave Texas’ class since Mack Brown resigned as the Longhorns head coach.
UT’s current nine-man class is ranked 11th in the country by 247Sports Composite, and still No. 1 in the Big 12, barely ahead of West Virginia (No. 12 nationally) and Baylor (No. 15).
