Four Texas kickoff times announced

We know four of Texas’ 12 kickoff times for the fall. The Big 12 announced several starting times for various league teams, and some other kickoff times have leaked out as well.

Game 1, Texas vs. North Texas (Aug. 30): 7 p.m. It’ll be shown on the Longhorn Network.

Other announced Big 12 kickoffs: Iowa State vs. North Dakota State, 11 a.m. on Fox Sports 1; West Virginia vs. Alabama, 2:30 p.m. in Atlanta, ABC/ESPN2; Texas Tech vs. Central Arkansas, 6 p.m.; Oklahoma State vs. Florida State, 7 p.m. at the Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium in Arlington, ABC.

The ones we don’t know yet: Kansas State-Stephen F. Austin, Oklahoma-Louisiana Tech.

Baylor debuts its new stadium on Sunday, Aug. 31 against Baylor (6:30 p.m., FS1). TCU-Samford is that day as well, at 6 p.m.

Game 2, Texas vs. BYU (Sept. 6): 6:30 p.m. TV is FS1.

Other announced games: Iowa State vs. Kansas State (the Big 12 opener), 11 a.m., FS1; Texas Tech at UTEP, 10 p.m., FS1.

The ones we don’t know yet: Oklahoma State-Missouri State, Kansas-Southeast Missouri, West Virginia-Towson, Baylor-Northwestern State, Oklahoma at Tulsa.

Game 3, Texas vs. UCLA (Sept. 13, Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium): 7 p.m. TV is Fox.

Other announced games: Kansas at Duke, 2:30 p.m.; Texas Tech vs. Arkansas, 2:30 p.m., ABC/ESPN/ESPN2; TCU vs. Minnesota, 3 p.m., FS1; Oklahoma State vs. UTSA, 6 p.m., FSN; Oklahoma vs. Tennessee, 7 p.m., ABC/ESPN/ESPN2.

The ones we don’t know yet: West Virginia at Maryland, Iowa State at Iowa.

Baylor’s at Buffalo on Friday the 12th. No info yet on that one, either.

Texas is off that next week. Kansas State hosts Auburn that Thursday, Sept. 18, at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN.

Game 4, Texas at Kansas (Sept. 27): TBA.

Announced games: Only one. Texas Tech is at Oklahoma State that Thursday night, Sept. 25, at 6:30 p.m. on ESPN.

Game 5, Texas vs. Baylor (Oct. 4): TBA. That’s also Week 1 of the ACL festival.

No game times were announced for league games.

Game 6, Texas vs. Oklahoma (Oct. 11, Cotton Bowl): TBA. That’s Week 2 of ACL.

Iowa State-Toledo, also being played that day, doesn’t have any info on it yet either.

Game 7, Texas vs. Iowa State (Oct. 18): TBA.

Game 8, Texas at Kansas State (Oct. 25): TBA.

Game 9, Texas at Texas Tech (Nov. 1): TBA. That’s F1 weekend in Austin, though the game will be in Lubbock.

Game 10, Texas vs. West Virginia (Nov. 8): TBA.

Game 11, Texas at Oklahoma State (Nov. 15): TBA.

Texas is off that next week, on the 22nd, because of the Thanksgiving game the next week. Kansas State is at West Virginia on Thursday, Nov. 20, 6 p.m. on FS1.

Game 12, Texas vs. TCU (Nov. 27): 6:30 p.m., on Thanksgiving. Right after the Cowboys and Eagles finish. Another FS1 game.
