Texas’ “Under the Lights” camp had its first pay off Monday evening when three-star Burton athlete Louis Brown committed to the Longhorns.
Brown, who received a scholarship offer last month, worked out as a defensive end during Friday’s camp and looked very good in the process. It didn’t take long for the 6-foot-6, 208-pounder to pull the trigger after the camp.
Once a Baylor pledge, Brown is listed at the 49th overall player in the state by 247Spots composite ratings. He is the 12th pledge in Texas’ 2015 class.
Brown decommitted from the Bears on June 8 and received an offer to Texas shortly after. He chose the Longhorns over offers from Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Oregon and Oklahoma State, among several others.
