Texas football players Kendall Sanders and Montrel Meander will be in Travis County court Aug. 7, two weeks after they were charged with felony sexual assault. They are scheduled to appear at 9:30 a.m.
The hearing was called to see that Sanders and Meander have obtained legal representation.
Sanders and Meander, both wide receivers for the Longhorns, have been suspended indefinitely by coach Charlie Strong. They are accused of sexually assaulting a female student last month in Meander’s on-campus dorm room.
Sanders is also facing a charge of improper photography.
