Amid this week’s conversation about David Ash’s head injury is more sad news for the Longhorns community. In his Monday column, American-Statesman sports columnist Kirk Bohls wrote about a loss for former Texas head coach Mack Brown:
“Mack Brown lost his beautiful North Carolina home when it burned down because of unknown causes last week, taking with it tons of memorabilia. ‘All that was left were two chimneys standing,’ he said. Not been a great nine months for the former Texas football coach.”
Brown tweeted about the incident earlier today, starting conversation about the loss on social media:
Thx for your thoughts and prayers about the loss of our house. Tough deal, but thanks. Blessed everyone is fine and we are moving forward.
