What else would a TV network devoted to the Longhorns do on Christmas morning than, well, devote seven uninterrupted, commercial-free and Christmas-themed hours to Bevo.
Just as it did on Dec. 25, 2014, when Bevo XIV ruled the roost, the Longhorn Network has a photographer out in a field somewhere near Liberty Hill streaming video of Bevo XV doing what longhorns do — walking around, eating out of a trough, eating tall grass, scratching the occasional itch, chasing away other cattle that stray too close.
Christmas carols play in the background as Bevo does thing during the “Bevo Home for the Holidays” broadcast. There’s even a Jordan Shipley-performed song on the playlist, “My Baby Wants Bevo for Christmas.”
To join him in his longhorn games, tune in to LHN anytime before 2 p.m. Central time when the network switches over to women’s basketball.
