Texas men’s tennis team wins three titles in Midland and Houston

Texas freshman Harrison Scott won his first singles title at the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational in Midland and UT’s Michael Riechman took the “C” singles draw at the Rice Invitational on Sunday in Houston.

Scott collected five wins in Midland and won his first collegiate event by defeating TCU’s Trevor Johnson 7-5, 6-3. Reichman bested Army’s Kyle Barnes 7-5, 6-4 to win the “C” singles draw.

Texas senior Nick Naumann and redshirt freshman Julian Zlobinsky teamed up to win the main doubles draw at Rice. Naumann and Zlobinsky defetaed Tulane’s Sebastian Rey and Chi-Shan Jao 6-2.
