The Texas Longhorns women’s golf team finished the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational in fourth place on Tuesday at the University of Texas Golf Club. They shot 292 to finish at 875 (+11) for the tournament.
Julia Beck took fourth place, a career best, after shooting 5 under 67 in a round that included six birdies and a bogey.
Sophia Schubert finished in a tie for tenth place with a final round of 70 while Tezira Abe took 18th place.
Maddie Luitwieler closed out the tournament in a tie for 35th place while Haley Mills took a tie for 65th.
Competing as individuals for Texas were Anne Hakula and Natalie Karcher. Hakula finished in 68th place while Karcher took a tie for 42nd.
The team title went to Kent State which finished 5 under par. Gabby Barker of Texas Tech was the top individual finisher as she shot 5 under par.
Texas finishes its fall schedule with a tournament beginning Sunday and finishing Tuesday at the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Las Vegas, Nev.
