Texas cross country teams advance to NCAA Championships

The Texas men’s and women’s cross-country teams advanced to the NCAA Championships after second-place finishes behind Arkansas at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships on Friday in College Station.

The men’s team advanced for the seventh straight season with 69 points, just behind the Razorbacks’ 51.

Arkansas won the women’s race with 40 points, and UT had 105 points to advance for the first time since 2012.


The NCAA Championships will take place Nov. 21 in Louisville, Ky.
