Posted January 14th, 2017
Chloe Collins is set to set in Spain.
Less than a month after the setter wrapped up her collegiate career at Texas, Collins has signed with a professional volleyball team that is based in Spain’s Canary Islands. Ahead of her first professional match on Saturday, Collins posted a picture of her IBSA CV Gran Canaria jersey on her Instagram account.

The 5-foot-7-inch Collins guided Texas to the NCAA championship game during her junior and senior years. Collins was a second-team honoree on the AVCA’s All-American team this past season. Her 3,679 career assists rank fourth in the Texas record books.
Collins, who turns 22 on Sunday, was one of three seniors on Texas’ roster in 2016, and she recently graduated with a degree in corporate communication. Earlier this week, classmate Paulina Prieto-Cerame began her professional career in Puerto Rico.
