The Longhorns bounced back from a Game 1 loss with a 4-2 win over Tennessee Tech in their NCAA super regional on Sunday, forcing a Game 3 with a trip to Omaha on the line.
The only problem? Game 3 is at noon … on a Monday, in the middle of business hours. What’s a Texas fan to do?
Fret not: Athletic Director Chris Del Conte feels your pain, and he’s got your back – with this handy excuse note:
Our boss has a note for your boss.@TexasBaseball needs y’all to cheer loud at UFCU Disch-Falk Field or watching on ESPN2 tomorrow. A trip to Omaha is at stake! #HookEm🤘 #RoadToOmaha pic.twitter.com/trCkZC607u

Best of luck explaining that to your boss. And if you can’t make it out to Disch-Falk Field this afternoon, catch the game on ESPN2 or 104.9 The Horn.
