As of Monday, a family of four can eat a meal at a Texas Longhorns home game for less than $30 total.
That is, if the family buys items from Texas’ new “Fan First” menu, which slashes food and beverage prices for the 10 most popular items at the Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium concession stand. The new menu was announced Monday by Texas athletics director Chris Del Conte.
The concessions prices are a 30 percent discount on average, according to the university. The biggest price decrease is for a regular fountain soda drink, which used to be $5 and is now $3.
Full menu pricing is as follows:
- Regular fountain soda drink: $3
- 20 oz. bottled water: $3
- Candy: $3
- Popcorn: $3
- All beef hot dog: $4
- Regular nachos: $4
- Peanuts: $4
- Bottled 20 oz. soft drink: $4
- Souvenir “Texas” soft drink: $5
- Liter of bottled water: $5
