He may have thrown only 55 varsity passes so far, but 13 schools are already convinced. This fall he finally starts.

Scouting the state’s top recruits for the 2019 class:

No. 25: Grant Tisdale, quarterback, Allen

FYI: 6-1/204; 4-stars

Texas offer: No

Top offers: Ohio State, Oregon, Mississippi State

College: Undecided

Scouting Tisdale: It’s finally Tisdale’s turn to take over at quarterback at Allen. The 6-1 dual-threat prospect played sparingly as a sophomore. Allen, which produced five-star great Kyler Murray, is the biggest school in the state and is a perennial contender for state championships. Tisdale has attempted only 55 varsity passes, but already holds offers from 13 schools.

His potential is without question. Ohio State, Oregon, Tennessee and Oklahoma all have offered him scholarships based on that potential. Tisdale has a strong arm and is uniquely athletic for a quarterback. He’ll likely put up huge numbers at Allen as a junior this fall.
