Texas used its Orange-White game to host targets in the 2019 class and hand out a select number of offers to younger prospects in attendance. One of the new offers is to Lake Travis athlete Hudson Card. The sophomore spent last season playing wide receiver. He’s expected to take over as the quarterback of the Cavaliers entering his junior season.

Card adds Texas to a list that includes programs like Arkansas, Auburn and Baylor. He completed 57 of his 82 completions last season, passing for six touchdowns to just three interceptions. Card caught 69 balls for 1,137 yards and added 459 yards as a rusher, scoring 19 touchdowns as a skill-position player. He was the District 25-6A offensive newcomer of the year.
Texas is currently hosting Lake Travis junior Garrett Wilson, who is down to the Longhorns and Ohio State. Wilson took his official visit to Ohio State last weekend and is expected to decide well before his senior season begins.
Texas also extended an offer to Clear Creek sophomore offensive tackle Chad Lindberg.
