Texas officials want to remind fans about the new clear bag policy that goes into effect at Royal-Memorial Stadium this fall.
The majority of bags that can be brought into the stadium must be made of clear plastic and not exceed 12 inches long, 12 inches tall and 6 inches wide. Or, fans can use resealable, 1-gallon plastic bags. Small clutch bags or purses do not have to be clear but cannot exceed 6 1/2 inches long by 4 1/2 inches tall.
Fans will not be allowed to enter with a non-conforming bag. All items required for a diaper bag must be contained in a clear bag. Every ticket holder is allowed to carry a clear bag. Exceptions will be made for necessary medical items after proper inspection at designated areas.
Fans can still bring blankets, binoculars and cameras. For more information, visit the school’s athletic website.
