Bevo XV can’t travel to Los Angeles, and he’s not happy about it

Posted September 12th, 2017

Bevo XV and Traveler IX will have to keep their banter to social media.

On Tuesday, the official Twitter account for the Texas mascot announced that Bevo will not be attending the game Saturday at USC, due to space constraints at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

As you can see in the video below, he’s not impressed.

Also on Tuesday, USC announced that it has sold out the Coliseum for the prime-time rematch of the 2006 BCS National Championship Game. The Coliseum seats 92,348 fans for college football.

Unfortunately, they couldn’t make room for Bevo XV. Rest assured he’ll be rooting the team on from Texas.

As for Traveler IX, the Trojans’ white horse mascot whose name has come under scrutiny for its supposed ties to Robert E. Lee, he’ll be trotting out of the tunnel as usual.
