USC fans are still bitter about losing to Texas in the 2006 Rose Bowl, but a few of them took things too far Saturday before the Trojans and Longhorns met again at the Los Angeles Coliseum.
ESPN/Longhorn Network producer Ande Wall tweeted a photo of a piñata resembling Texas mascot Hook’Em with the name “V. Young” on its back. The piñata was suspended from a tree using a rope and had a makeshift “spear” through its side.
My field producer in LA just sent me this. Do better, USC. Do way better. pic.twitter.com/ub4BlKEfbi

It’s clear the loss from 12 years ago still stings in the heart and minds of USC fans, but taking it out like this is a bad look to say the least.
No place for this. Hopefully they are made to take that down. https://t.co/6C6uqXDuNH
