Texas fans ‘Sound Off’ after Longhorns collapse late in 27-23 loss to Texas Tech

Posted November 25th, 2017

Advertisement asked Texas fans to “Sound Off” on our Facebook page after they watched the Longhorns blow a late lead in the regular-season finale against Texas Tech at Royal-Memorial Stadium.

As you can imagine, we got plenty of responses from fans who were apoplectic about what they witnessed. Here’s a sample of some popular responses. They have been edited for space and clarity.

RELATED: What Tom Herman said after Texas blew late lead in 27-23 loss to Texas Tech

Ryan Orosco: Feel let down. Time for a new offensive coordinator bottom line. When you can’t run the ball into the end zone on goal line situations then there’s a problem.

Jennifer O’Chester: Angry!!! Sick of watching Sam Ehlinger throw the game away late with stupid interceptions. This makes four. Oh yeah, we only lost six games, so four are on him. No accountability. They just keep rolling him out there. Shane Buechele has never turned the ball over this much or at such crucial times. Sam is NOT the long term answer!

Justin Hill: No identity and no offense. I’m ashamed that I was one of the ones that wanted Mack Brown to go. We would never be in this position with him in control. This is embarrassing. Herman isn’t going to do a damn thing with this program. Screw the bowl game we are going to get blown out regardless of who we play.

Gary Boyer: Horns were lucky to be bowl eligible. Next year West Virginia, Baylor and Kansas State will win easy. No flukes in 2018. Four wins maximum.

Nathan Michael Smith: It’s obvious Tom Herman doesn’t like the Charlie Strong recruits. Shane Buechele was outstanding last year.
